A partnership agreement to recruit and advise employees in western Paris was signed on 16 May between the Western Greater Paris Regional Support and Assistance Department and the Cité des Métiers in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines. “With this agreement, we are committed to regularly participating in information sessions and organising workshops on specific themes, such as preparing for recruitment interviews,” says Thierry Pellé, director of La Poste's Western Greater Paris Regional Support and Assistance Department. “And the Cité des Métiers, meanwhile, is providing La Poste with use of its event spaces to hold meeting and recruitment days.”
The first of these recruitment days took place on Monday 28 May, with a focus on banking jobs. Thirty-two job vacancies were offered for customer advisor and banking advisor positions (financial advisor, customer advisor and wealth advisor). The day began with a presentation of La Poste and Network jobs, followed by recruitment interviews with candidates short-listed by Pôle Emploi (the job centre).
The Cité des Métiers of Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines is a multi-partnership space. It is open to anyone looking for information and advice to build their professional future. In a single place, it offers interviews with professional career and employment advisors, documentation on employment, professions and training, and information days, thematic workshops, seminars and meetings, organised by all partners or jointly with external partners, as well as a multimedia space. All these services are openly available and anonymous, and free of charge.
