94/100

La Poste’s 2018 gender equality index score

This index is calculated based on 5 indicators:

  • In terms of equal pay, La Poste has a 0.23% gap between men and women.

  • For the rate of increase, there is a 1.98% gap in favour of women.

  • For promotions, the difference between men and women at La Poste is 0.15% in favour of women.

  • 100% of women returning from maternity leave benefited from increases received during their absence.

  • There are three women among the ten highest paid employees.

Gender equality at work has long been an important value in La Poste’s culture and policies, with concrete actions and regular staff agreements to ensure this equality.

The most recent gender equality agreement was signed on 3 July 2015, between La Poste and trade union organisations (CFDT, CGT, FO) and the CFTC-CGC-UNSA joint list. It aims to strengthen women’s and men’s access to all jobs at all levels in the company, reduce pay gaps, fight stereotypes, and combat violence in the home and at work. It also contains provisions to promote a healthy work-life balance.
