Our purpose : To be the first European platform for links and exchanges, human and digital, green and civic, at the service of our customers in their projects and of the society as a whole in its changes.
A growing number of elected officials see digital tools as a means of maintaining contact with local people and, more specifically, with the elderly. The aim is to make some services more easily accessible, or even to provide day-to-day support. For Josiane Cognet, the assistant responsible for solidarity in the town of Cusset (Allier region), digital technology offers new possibilities for social initiatives: “As an elected official, I believe that access to digital technology and the related systems can be considered as being in the public interest. They help people to continue living in their own homes and remain socially connected while also contributing to health and safety. If we want elderly people to be able to stay in their own homes for as long as possible, we need to implement new technologies straight away. To this end, we met representatives of La Poste who showed us the Ardoiz tablet. This initiative by La Poste is pertinent and deserves further study.”
