La Poste Groupe has been putting its values, expertise and skills to work in the healthcare sector for several years. Financing, logistics, home healthcare and digital healthcare are now its main areas of development in this field.

Historical activities

As the leading banking partner for public hospitals, La Banque Postale has been supporting public and private players in hospital care and accommodation for elderly or disabled people since 2015. La Poste Groupe's expertise in temperature-controlled transport of molecules, medicines and healthcare devices (Chronopost Healthcare) and in local storage and delivery (Log'issimo) is also well known to healthcare providers.

An acceleration of the group's strategic diversification

Through an active policy of acquisitions and strategic partnerships, La Poste Groupe has diversified its expertise to offer new services to healthcare providers.

In healthcare and home care services with Asten Santé, Diadom, Happytal, etc. In digital healthcare with Heva, Maincare, Weliom and Axonal-Biostatem, etc., which are working on digitising the patient journey.

Our acquisitions of expert healthcare players

In 2023, La Poste Groupe created La Poste Santé & Autonomie (LPSA), bringing together all its activities and expertise within a trusted provider of human and digital services in the health sector (excluding banking and temperature-controlled transport).

La Poste Santé & Autonomie : the group's human and digital healthcare services operator

La Poste Santé & Autonomie's strategy is aligned with that of the La Poste Groupe and aims to address the key challenges facing the healthcare system: increased costs, accessibility to care, financing difficulties and the efficiency of the healthcare system. To address these challenges, La Poste Santé & Autonomie has identified two promising areas :

  • Services that promote home care

  • Leveraging health data to improve efficiency and promote innovation

Convinced of the complementary nature of home healthcare and health data, La Poste Santé & Autonomie will draw on the group's expertise in local human services and digital trust services, thanks in particular to its strong regional presence and the health data expertise of its digital subsidiary Docaposte.

With its assets, La Poste Santé & Autonomie is positioned as a unique player covering the value chains of home healthcare and data utilisation.

La Poste Santé & Autonomie covers the home healthcare value chain through :

  • Providing information to vulnerable groups, identifying vulnerabilities among elderly people through the home detection programme (ICope), and installing medical equipment in homes (Asten Santé, DiaDom)

  • Assistance for elderly or sick people through home help services (Axéo services and Age d’or)

  • Monitoring of patients at home through remote medical monitoring and coordination of medical care (Happytal, MN Santé, etc.)

La Poste Santé & Autonomie's objective is to draw on the expertise of its subsidiaries and Docaposte to offer services across the entire data value chain :

  • Data collection through the digitisation of business processes, healthcare pathways in hospitals (Maincare, MNSanté, Heva) and at home through home visits (Asten Santé, Diadom)

  • Hosting, HDS archiving, and healthcare data security, thanks to trusted solutions from Docaposte and Numspot's secure and trusted cloud.

  • Processing and leveraging data to optimise the management of healthcare providers' activities, improve patient care and enhance innovation and research thanks to specialists in data leveraging (Heva) and artificial intelligence (OpenValue, Probayes), with the support of sovereign and trusted solutions developed by Docaposte.

Building on La Poste Santé & Autonomie's unique presence in these two value chains, La Poste Groupe aims to be the partner of choice in six market segments centred on human-based local services for home healthcare and trusted digital services for health data.
