ICOPE : to delay the loss of independence
La Poste's local human network is being used by the WHO's Icope programme to prevent loss of independence, led by Toulouse University Hospital. Postmen trained in assessing functional abilities help to identify situations of frailty among elderly people. Once detected, these individuals can then receive early care, which helps to delay their entry into dependency.

Via a patient portal, they can access useful services including pre-admission, administrative management, preparation for returning home and remote medical monitoring.
