“Climate Immersion 2035”: an innovative experience to raise awareness of climate change adaptation
Raising awareness in a different way to inspire action

Climate change is already a reality, and its effects will intensify in the coming years. For a group operating in France and in nearly 60 countries, the impacts on buildings, logistics networks, postal carriers' delivery rounds, post offices and working conditions are already visible.
At VivaTech, the Group is unveiling "Immersion Climat 2035". This innovative virtual reality experience allows users to experience extreme weather situations already encountered by employees in their workplace. The project aims to mobilise all the Group's employees around the issue of adaptation and the impacts of climate change in their daily lives. It also presents the adaptation measures already implemented or planned by the Group.
At the heart of real climate hazards, discovering how to act
The experience offers three immersive scenarios, developed from climate situations already experienced by the Group's teams: a sudden flood at a parcel platform, Storm Goretti and its consequences on postal carriers' delivery rounds, and heatwaves in post offices affecting both employees and customers.
Three employees share first-hand accounts of these events to raise awareness of current climate disruptions and their consequences. In this experience, the user is not only exposed to climate hazards but becomes an active participant. They understand the issues and explore the solutions implemented by La Poste Groupe, or which will be implemented, as part of its adaptation plan. "The virtual reality experience addresses floods, heat and storms, which are significant hazards for La Poste Groupe, and we have already experienced events related to them," explains Anne-Sophie Cospin, Director of Climate Change Adaptation, La Poste Groupe. "The idea is really to represent them in the experience and to provide the solutions implemented by La Poste Groupe." With "Climate Immersion 2035", the Group thus transforms a complex subject into a memorable, engaging experience that raises awareness of adaptation and provides keys to action.
The aim of this project is to raise awareness in a different way of the effects of climate change and to show that it is already impacting La Poste in its activities, its employees and its business continuity.

A first adaptation plan to build the Group's climate resilience
To address climate risks, La Poste Groupe has been taking action for many years: thermal renovation of buildings, green roofs, adiabatic cooling systems, adapted textiles for workwear... The Group is testing scalable solutions that are adapted to local areas.
La Poste Groupe is building a resilient, sustainable and reassuring business model.
In 2026, La Poste Groupe is taking a new step in its long-term adaptation strategy: in addition to its transition plan, the Group has formalised its first adaptation plan. This aims to preserve employee safety and working conditions, protect real estate assets, prepare the climate resilience of its value chain, support local areas and guarantee service continuity. By combining mitigation and adaptation, La Poste Groupe is building a resilient, sustainable and reassuring business model for its employees and customers alike.
